October 1st-4th we’ll be offering sake flights to celebrate International Sake Day on October 1st.
Blue Wasabi has chosen 5 distinct brands and grades of imported Japanese sake for our sake flight so you can experience the wide array of artisan sake that we offer. The flight will include: Hot Sake – known as “Futsuu-shu,” Hakatsuru Draft, Shirakabe Gura, Kuromatsu Hakushika, and Snow Beauty Hakushika.

Hey sushi lovers! Happy (belated) new year to everyone!
We have a lot of great things in the works for 2012 and one of the first items on our list is a brand new menu to keep you guys satisfied and coming back for more!
However, we aren’t about to just implement a new menu over night. We want to invite you to have a hand in spicing up the Blue Wasabi experience. If you have the time to give, we would be thrilled to get your feedback on what we have planned.
First up is the revamped beverage menu:

In this round, we’re unveiling some new additions to our wine list that we’re really excited about!
For all you winos out there…
We’ve added a few red wines to suit all of our winter palates – including a Justin Cabernet Sauvignon, Paso Robles and an ultra cool Raymond Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon from the Napa Valley label’s Cask Series that we think you’ll love – especially considering that the Raymond is one of our happy hour menu’s newest additions (note the happy hour smiley face throughout).
Other new additions of note are the Argento Malbec, from Argentina and the latest white wine addition of Nickel & Nickel Chardonnay “Searby Vineyard”, Russian River Valley.
And for all of you white wine afficianados, don’t worry! You can expect to see more white additions to our wine list with the return of the sizzling summer heat.
Lets get ready to ruuuuuumble! Hello there Blue Wasabi Sushi fans. First of all let me say, Happy New Year. 2012 is going to be a great year, not just for Blue Wasabi Sushi & Martini Bar but for our Chuck Norris Challenge winners as well.
In June of last year, we announced the Chuck Norris Challenge. The challenge: Create a killer sushi roll [Bruce Lee] for an EPIC showdown with the master – the Chuck Norris Roll.
Far and wide you came. Some as far away as Australia and Japan! You came, you saw and some of you – even conquered the Chuck Norris Roll. The 1st winner of the Chuck Norris Challenge was the Double D Roll. Katie D & Sophie D. Katie & Sophie are sisters who visited Blue Wasabi Sushi Scottsdale with their parents and made a killer roll. The 2nd winner of the Chuck Norris Challenge was The Jenn Roll. The Tail Of The Dragon Roll is the 3rd roll to take on Chuck – and Win!.
