Lets get ready to ruuuuuumble! Hello Blue Wasabi Sushi fans. Back in June, we announced our latest competition. We called it the Chuck Norris Challenge. The challenge was rather simple, and not. Create a killer sushi roll [Bruce Lee] for an EPIC showdown with Chuck.

Well, I have to say that I was blown away with the competitors. Far and wide they came, they saw and some even conquered – Chuck. I expected to pick one winner. Sadly, I cannot. There were just too many great rolls submitted. So, I, Jim “The Irish Dragon” Moran have decided to give all of our winners the stage they deserve.

Starting today, with the announcement of the 1st Chuck Norris Challenge Winner, and continuing on monthly, Blue Wasabi will feature a new winner. The 1st Chuck Norris Challenge Winner is the Double D Roll by Katie D & Sophie D. Katie & Sophie are sisters who visited Blue Wasabi Sushi Scottsdale with their parents. Their dad is from Holland, their mom is from the U.S.. and Katie currently lives in Tokyo. Talk about an International family! The Double D Roll took on Chuck and smoked him with it’s spicy cucumber, silky salmon, tasty tuna and glamorous guacamole.
